The Educational Services of the Galleria Nazionale, in collaboration with the Museum association and the Italian Union of Blind and Partially Sighted People, aim to make the museum’s spaces accessible to visitors with visual impairments, including blind and partially sighted people. Each month, a programme of activities is offered, including tactile tours, creative workshops, and meetings with artists and museum professionals. Guided tours include the tactile exploration of selected works from the collection, chosen according to the theme of each visit and complemented by thermoformed tactile images that allow for a more in-depth understanding of the works.
