data-start=\"149\" data-end=\"307\">With 1,500 linear meters of documents preserved in just 400 square meters, the Archives are a valuable resource for in-depth research on the GNAMC collection.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"309\" data-end=\"627\">They are organized into four main sections: the Historical Archive, the Photographic Archive, the Bio-iconographic Archive, and the Historical Fonds.<br data-start=\"458\" data-end=\"461\" \/>In total, around <strong data-start=\"478\" data-end=\"503\">51,453 archival units<\/strong> have been catalogued, enriched by <strong data-start=\"538\" data-end=\"562\">24,383 digital files<\/strong> available through the <strong data-start=\"585\" data-end=\"626\">Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"629\" data-end=\"741\">Access to the Archives is free of charge and available <strong data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"707\">by appointment only<\/strong>, for study and research purposes.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"743\" data-end=\"746\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"748\" data-end=\"774\"><strong data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"774\">Historical Archive<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"776\" data-end=\"988\">Comprising 400 linear meters of files, this archive documents the administrative activities, acquisitions, donations, educational initiatives, and exhibitions that trace the history of the GNAMC and its premises.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"990\" data-end=\"993\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"995\" data-end=\"1027\"><strong data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1027\">Bio-iconographic Archive<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1029\" data-end=\"1372\">Since the 1930s, this archive has collected newspaper articles, invitations, press releases, and exhibition photographs documenting the museum\u2019s activities.<br data-start=\"1185\" data-end=\"1188\" \/>It also includes material related to the Rome Quadriennale, the Venice Biennale, and both private and public gallery activities, as well as a biographical section dedicated to artists.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1374\" data-end=\"1377\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"1379\" data-end=\"1403\"><strong data-start=\"1383\" data-end=\"1403\">Historical Fonds<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1405\" data-end=\"1616\">Since 1973, this section has gathered <strong data-start=\"1443\" data-end=\"1466\">56 private archives<\/strong> from artists, critics, and galleries, amounting to about <strong data-start=\"1524\" data-end=\"1545\">700 linear meters<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"1546\" data-end=\"1549\" \/>It also includes the <strong data-start=\"1570\" data-end=\"1597\">Archive of Applied Arts<\/strong>, acquired in 2012.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1618\" data-end=\"1621\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"1623\" data-end=\"1651\"><strong data-start=\"1627\" data-end=\"1651\">Photographic Archive<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1653\" data-end=\"1681\">Divided into two sections:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1682\" data-end=\"1858\">\n<li data-start=\"1682\" data-end=\"1758\">\n<p data-start=\"1684\" data-end=\"1758\">one containing digital reproductions of artworks in the GNAMC collection<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1759\" data-end=\"1858\">\n<p data-start=\"1761\" data-end=\"1858\">the other dedicated to historical photographs of artworks and temporary exhibition
