Supporters are encouraged to take an active role by proposing ideas connected to the funding they provide.

Specifically, the Pact seeks to bring together companies that share values of cultural patronage and social responsibility, offering concrete and strategic support to the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea as it embarks on a new path of growth.

Participants may appoint representatives to join the project’s Advisory Board—a consultative committee that works alongside the museum’s management to explore and share strategic directions for the programming of the “New GNAMC”, focusing on activities funded through the Pact. The aim is to maximize the positive impact on both the local community and broader territory. Appointment to the Advisory Board is honorary and does not entitle members to compensation, financial benefits, or reimbursement of expenses.

Joining the Pact and the Advisory Board requires an annual contribution of €50,000 plus VAT, formalized through a sponsorship agreement. The initiative also includes the redesign of the website, GNAMC’s coordinated visual identity (the new logo has already been unveiled), and a new line of merchandising. A new catalogue of the exhibited masterpieces will also be published.

Artist at GNAMC
The initiative launched in 2024 with Emilio Isgrò: Protagonist 2024 will continue. This “artist-in-residence” program follows the format “one year, one artist, one room.” Inspired by models from leading international institutions, GNAMC will host an Italian artist for one year, featuring live encounters with the public and a dedicated room showcasing a curated selection of their works. For 2025, the museum is considering an important representative of Arte Povera or the Scuola di Piazza del Popolo.

GNAMC Easy
Construction is underway (installation planned for March 2025) on a new accessibility ramp for disabled visitors, located on the left side of the main façade. Already financed, this intervention ensures full access to the museum’s historic headquarters. The GNAMC Easy project also includes the development of audio guides and a tactile path with accessible artworks for visually impaired visitors—potentially funded through the Pact.

GNAMC Kids
Plans are being developed to renovate the museum’s educational area, with the addition of outdoor spaces for summer and winter workshops aimed at families and young children.
