We explore the abstract and Art Informel works in the museum to observe how artists have interpreted lines, forms, and primary and secondary colours. In the galleries, participants will investigate two distinct approaches: the careful, precise study of geometric compositions by Mondrian, Severini and Dorazio, and the free, imaginative forms of Capogrossi, Cy Twombly and Vedova. In the workshop, participants will create abstract compositions combining the visual languages they have encountered, experimenting with more schematic, rigorous approaches alongside more impulsive, spontaneous and imaginative forms of expression.<\/p>\n
